Shawn Halliday was born on December 30th in Corpus Christi, Texas. He is a classically trained actor who most recently worked on Preacher, Queen Sugar, and The Oath. Shawn received his MFA from Louisiana State University and has performed regionally with Common Thread Theatre, Three Bone Theatre, Charlotte Conservatory Theatre, Swine Palace, Unicorn Theatre, The Coterie, Missouri Rep, and the Colorado Shakespeare Festival. His most recent productions include A Doll’s House Part 2, Violet, and Barbeque. Shawn has additional professional experience in puppetry and improvisation which he cultivated during his work with Paul Mesner Puppets and Comedy City. He has taught numerous theatre and acting classes to pre-k through college students and is currently teaching at NC A&T. Over the years, Shawn has directed numerous professional and educational productions, ranging from musicals to Molière, and enjoys working to help develop the next generation of theatre artists.
