Shawn Halliday was born on December 30th in Corpus Christi, Texas. He is a classically trained actor who most recently worked on Preacher, Queen Sugar, and The Oath. Shawn received his MFA from Louisiana State University and has performed regionally with Swine Palace, Unicorn Theatre, The Coterie, Missouri Rep, and the Colorado Shakespeare Festival. Favorite productions include Disgraced, The Laramie Project, Sideman, Killer Joe and Macbeth. Shawn has additional professional experience in puppetry and improvisation which he cultivated during his work with Paul Mesner Puppets and Comedy City. Over the years, he has directed numerous professional and educational productions, ranging from musicals to Molière and enjoys working to help develop the next generation of theatre artists.
